What is the Ambassador Program?
The Ambassador Program was created by the Revelstoke Chamber of Commerce as a workforce support, retention and attraction initiative, that also supports local businesses and strengthens our community. In 2025, we partnered with the Okanagan College to extend their Career Skills for Success training modules with Ambassadors, to further support and strengthen Revelstoke’s workforce.

Why should I do it?
The Core Ambassador Program modules provide you with foundational Revelstoke Knowledge, the skills to share that knowledge, and the benefits to encourage you to make the most of your Revelstoke experience. The program is a great way to become more connected with the community, and give back to it.

Am I Eligible?
The Ambassador Program is open to everyone that works for a Revelstoke-based business, or volunteers on the board of a Revelstoke-based Non-Profit Organization. Proof is required, and is to be sent or delivered to us upon completion of the online courses.

What courses do I need to take to get benefits?
Revelstoke Knowledge (to be completed every intake/season and Customer Service Excellence (to be completed once) The Ambassador Benefit Pass can only be collected after Ambassadors have Complete the Two Core Modules. Returning Ambassadors who have already completed both core modules in the past, only need to complete the newest Revelstoke Knowledge Module to become eligible again for the new benefits.

What is the Career Skills Course?
This 8 module course is designed to help you level up your skills and career progression. Unlike the Core courses, it is available year round to support Ambassador/Students at all times. You will however, need to provide proof your work or volunteer for a Revelstoke based business or non-profit organization.
